Relationships are the fragile bonds that must be continually nurtured and respected in order to grow. Both partners in the relationship provide value for the other in a balance that keeps the relationship alive. When the balance is broken that’s when problems start to happen. If this unbalance continues without being fixed the relationship will eventually fall apart. This can leave one side of the relationship looking for a ways to resolve things and find the balance again. It can be tough, hard work, and even a lonely task, but there are ways to restore the balance you once had.
Do Something Else For Awhile
This is not the best time for you to be alone. Go out and do something! Get out of the house, hang out with your friends, and find some other forms of entertainment in your life. The idea here is to keep yourself occupied so you can better find yourself. This will also create new topics of conversation with your ex as you will have new stories to tell.
Stay Flexible
You can’t scare someone into returning to you so this is not the time for ultimatums or mandates. It’s time to focus more on listening to them and finding out where the cause of the break up was. You don’t have to agree to all their demands, but meeting halfway will be real important from here on.

Brooding, feeling sorry for yourself, and detaching yourself from your friends and family because of a back break up was definitely not one of the reasons. Determine what it was about you that made them fall in love with you. Find out your qualities that made them attracted to you and then accentuate those qualities as you try to be the best person you can be. This "new you" will rub off on everyone else and is one of the best ways to attract your ex back since it is authentic.
